Best Halloween EVER

I wandered out from the hostel for bread and butter and when I got back all the staff were having a meal and MADE me help them eat it all.  I volunteered to help set up for the Halloween party and ended up putting together huge trays of tapas (I am so having everyone over for Sangria and tapas when I come home!) while the girls made Sangria and decorated.

Victor played guitar and I heard him sing for the first time since I got here.  I was totally blown away by his talent.  Then there was a lot of consumption of Sangria and tapas and some costuming, which for me included face paint and a very orange wig.

After a couple hours I went to Reca, the bar at the corner, for a beer and some scrumptious tapas with a bunch of people from France and one Austrian.  Ironically the only common language between us was Spanish.  All but one person spoke English and I don't speak French.  Three of them are studying in Valencia and invited me along to the Alhambra tomorrow, although I'm still not sure I'm going to get up in four hours...

When I got back to the hostel, I rejoined the party and we played the drinking game where the teams race to flip their cups first.  There was a lot of dancing, at least until drinking Sangria, beer and rum and coke caught up with me and I decided it would be best if I didn't bounce around anymore.

When I got to my room, I discovered that my key had fallen out of my pocket, luckily I found it in the chair I had been sitting in downstairs.
